Audition-free community concert band in Amherst, MA (high school and college students through adults in their 80s), with roots in the 1950s and revived in 1979. Free public concerts in Amherst all summer (Sweetser Park, South Amherst Common, July 4th fireworks at McGuirk Stadium) plus a December holiday concert. Rehearses at the George N. Parks Minuteman Marching Band Building, UMass Amherst.
