GCC Theater presents The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later by Moisés Kaufman, Leigh Fondakowski, Greg Pierotti, Andy Paris and Stephen Belber, directed by Tom Geha. Most of the cast and crew of GCC's sold-out spring 2026 production of The Laramie Project return for this companion piece. Ten years after the 1998 murder of gay University of Wyoming student Matthew Shepard, members of Tectonic Theater Project returned to Laramie, Wyoming, and interviewed residents, the two murderers and Matthew's mother, Judy Shepard, about the town's history and legacy. It is a stand-alone play: you can follow it without having seen the first part. Runs about 90 minutes. Thursday, November 5 at 7 PM is a free preview (also Alumni Night; RSVP on the GCC events page). Paid performances: Friday, November 6 (opening night) and Saturday, November 7 at 7 PM; Sunday, November 8 at 2 PM; Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14 at 7 PM; Sunday, November 15 at 2 PM (closing matinee). Talkbacks with the director, cast and crew follow the November 6 and 13 performances. Tickets $15 general admission, $10 students/seniors, reserved online; if a show is sold out, stop by the box office in case of no-shows.
