SOMEWHERE OVER THE BORDER by Brian Quijada: a vibrant new musical inspired by the writer-composer's mother's journey from El Salvador to the US. Reina Quijada follows a very different yellow brick road toward the American Dream, making friends, dodging danger and seeking the almighty 'El Gran Coyote' in a nod to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, with onstage musicians weaving cumbia, mariachi, boleros, rock and hip hop.
