Audition call: Ellington Community Theatre is looking for 10-20 singers or small groups of singers for its 2027 Best of Broadway Cabaret (Fri Jan 22, 2027, Somers Congregational Church). Auditions are by video only. Email at least 1:30 of yourself or your group singing your chosen song to ectboardofdirectors@gmail.com between October 15 and November 15, 2026. Performers sing to karaoke/backing tracks or a cappella, and ECT does not provide musical direction. Volunteers for emcee can send a video explaining why they'd be great for the role. All are welcome, and no previous ECT involvement is needed. No callbacks: the performance list is posted November 22, 2026, and chosen performers practice at home until January 19. Performers MUST attend the rehearsal on Wednesday, January 20, 2027, 6-8 PM. Show call time is 6 PM on January 22. This is an unpaid fun and fundraising performance.
